After completing my template for my final project, I felt very accomplished and ready to present my work to my co-workers and some of the senior management at Chegg, a right of passage for all interns at Chegg. I had never given a presentation of that gravity before and was apprehensive. Luckily, my boss, Ramya, gave me some key information about how and what to present to the rest of the team. I was given specific instructions on time constraints, what key information I should highlight within my presentation, and how I should facilitate any questions from the audience. I spent many hours preparing for my presentation, and when the day came around, I felt ready. I presented my work to my colleagues, senior members, and other staff at Chegg. I was met with a good reception and felt my first internship at Chegg was rewarding and fulfilling. Afterward, I met with my boss, Ramya, who congratulated me on an incredible presentation and an overall great performance as one of her interns. I was honored to have her write a recommendation letter, which is attached below.

If I were to design a marketing presentation today, I would focus on chapters six and seven in Hegarty on Advertising. These chapters are about pitches and storytelling, both crucial for making a marketing presentation. You must address what you are trying to "sell to your audience" and the meaning/motive behind your work to the audience, or else they won't have any faith in a project with no passion. I knew I had the passion for my "World Cup Project," which would give a good start to explaining why it would matter to Chegg and how my work would prove useful in promoting Chegg. The motive behind my work was simple: to promote something I am passionate about in a way that benefits the Chegg brand. Once you have both of those ideas addressed, you already have a solid foundation for a presentation.
